Marry Me
A very famous pop/rock star who has people who do everything for her Kat Valdez (Jennifer Lopez) is about to get married before an audience of her loyal fans. Just seconds before the ceremony, she learns about her fiancé cheating on her and has a meltdown on stage, but instead of leaving the ceremony in her very expensive gown, she chooses instead to pick a guy out of the crowd and marry him!
Her new husband, Charlie (Owen Wilson), is a single father/Math teacher and a good person. He just wants to do the right thing and live life with no drama, no social media, and no craziness. He’s predictable, a little boring. After they get married at her concert, they proceed to get to know each other, learning along the way about life and true love. He challenges her to do things for herself.
The moral of the story is that you can have all the money and fame in the world but at the end of the day it’s the basics that really make you happy.
Just a sweet, lovely romance – comedy. There were some cheesy (unrealistic) moments. But it was just effortlessly well done. The music is catchy. Wonderfully acted, good watch.
Watch it with someone you care about or love!
I enjoyed this movie a lot more than I thought I would.
