Eligible residents are entitled to free delivery of library resources. Volunteers or staff will visit regularly with a selection of library resources chosen to suit interests and reading preferences.
Who is eligible?
The Home Library Service is available to residents in the City of Greater Dandenong who:
- Have difficulty visiting the library because of illness, frailty or disability.
- Are caring full-time for someone who is confined to their home by illness, frailty or disability.
- Are temporarily housebound.
What is available to home library service members?
The following library resources can be delivered:
- Fiction and non-fiction books in standard print or large print
- Talking books
- Music CDs and DVDs
- Magazines
- Resources in a range of community languages.
