To ensure a safe and pleasant environment for everyone, please observe the following:
Respect others
- Be courteous to staff and respect the safety of other visitors.
- Stay home if you’re feeling unwell.
- Follow directions from library staff.
- Turn your phone on silent and take calls away from quiet zones and
computer/study areas. - Treat library spaces, equipment and collections with care.
Supervision and Safety
- Children under the age of 10 must be actively supervised by a parent or responsible person aged 16 years or older.
- Library staff may inspect bags.
- Keep personal belongings with you as the library isn't responsible for them. Lockers are available for your convenience.
- Remove motorcycle helmets when entering.
Food and Drink
- Enjoy your food and drinks away from technology areas.
- Clean up after yourself.
Technology
- Follow the Digital Access Conditions of Use.
- A valid library card is needed to use PCs, meeting rooms and other
resource.
Use of Library Space
- Vehicles such as skateboards, bicycles, roller blades and scooters must
not be used or stored. - Approval from library staff is required before you take photos, film,
conduct surveys or share promotional materials. - Help keep shared spaces clean, safe and accessible for all visitors.
