Greater Dandenong Libraries does not accept donations of books or any other physical items. We appreciate the community’s generosity and recommend that you pass your items on to a local charity, opportunity shop, community group or street library.
Exceptions may be made for local authors and publishers of their own materials, if it meets the selection criteria as outlined in the Collection Development Plan 2022-2026. The library reserves the right to decline the offer of a donation if it does not deem it suitable for inclusion in the collection.
Authors or publishers can email the details of the item they wish to donate to cgdlibraries@cgd.vic.gov.au.
Unsolicited items sent to the library will not be accepted.
