Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck

This book is a very short read but was very intriguing. It gives a really interesting glimpse into life during the Great Depression, especially for workers that were quite different than their peers. Watching two men try to achieve the American Dream whilst overcoming diversity, it really had me hooked. It shows how friendships are important but also how they can change overtime. The twist at the end really had me in tears, so be prepared to have some tissues nearby cause you will definitely be bawling like I was.
