What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty

Imagine you had a fall and hit your head, and when you woke up, you thought it was 10 years ago.

That's what happens to suburban wife and Mum Alice in What Alice forgot - she thinks she is pregnant,  happily married to Nick and about to have her first child, but actually, she's got three children, is about to turn 40 and is on the brink of a divorce.  How could things have changed so much in 10 years? As Alice struggles to regain her memory and piece together her  family relationships, she wonders what kind of person she has become, and if she likes this new version of herself.  And who is Gina and what does she have to do with her marriage breakdown?

With her trademark humour and poignancy, Liane Moriarty creates a funny and touching tale of relationships, family and friendships and looks at how people can be influenced by others and their lives change over time.  What Alice forgot is an engaging and enjoyable read ( I particularly enjoyed listening to the audiobook).
