Alive by Scott Sigler
The first book in a YA sci-fi trilogy by Scott Sigler, Alive is a dystopian horror novel that immediately grabs your attention.
It opens with a teenage girl who wakes up trapped in a coffin, forced to piece together her identity and understand her mysterious surroundings.
The story is incredibly engaging, filled with suspense and unexpected plot twists in every chapter that kept me turning the pages and wanting more. I especially enjoyed the complexity of the protagonist, M. Savage, a young heroine who discovers her inner strength and emerges as a resilient leader. Her character is both inspiring and empowering for young readers.
Overall, this is a gripping adventure that will capture your imagination. I’d highly recommend it to fans of The Hunger Games, Divergent and The Maze Runner.
