The Lost City
Author Loretta Sage writes about exotic places in her popular adventure novels that feature a handsome cover model named Alan. While on tour promoting her new book with Alan, Loretta gets kidnapped by a strange billionaire who hopes she can lead him to an ancient city's lost treasure from her latest story. Determined to prove he can be a hero in real life and not just on the pages of her books, Alan sets off to rescue her. The story is a bit predictable.
This had Sandra bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe and Brad Pitt who makes a special appearance.
The movie is right at that point where it could be too inappropriate for some families and totally fine for others. Little violence, suggestive material, partial nudity and language which means some material is not suitable for kids under 15.
If you like the adventure genre with a bit of humorous scenes, in the style of Indiana Jones crossed with The Mummy, you will enjoy this one as well. The Lost City is very easy to watch, a perfect popcorn movie, with some mild but good action scenes and funny situations.
Nothing too serious or considered down by heavy drama. This is a good old-fashioned, silly comedy/romance. It's not going to be the type of comedy that a lot of people are going to watch over and over again, (my opinion) I don't think, but the heart of the film is in the right place, and it never takes anything too seriously.
