Hazel is a chef who has lost her job, and if she doesn’t find another soon, she may have to return home. Hazel also has a cat, Kevin, who hates everyone and prefers to be left alone.

When Hazel sees Ethan’s “dog-minding” ad, she decides to apply. She finds Ethan too flashy, flirty, and a total charmer—definitely not her type. However, Kevin is completely smitten with him, so Hazel makes an effort to befriend Ethan for the love of Kevin.
