Do you have a “stuff problem”? The Minimalist Home is all about solving that. Not to be confused with the design concept of minimalism - a house with lots of white space and no creature comforts, it’s about living simply, getting rid of the clutter in our homes to create a life where we feel less burdened by the stuff we own. It can lead to changes and positive effects in your lifestyle and frame of mind.
For example, arty/crafty types may find clearing and making space gives more space for creativity, green-minded people may find that accumulating less and living simply contributes to lessening their footprint on the environment, or parents may find their households become less chaotic and more organised freeing up time, energy and money.
This book guides you.
While The Minimalist Home has no pictures, which I can find challenging, I found it is actually a plus because you have no preconceived ideas based on someone else’s home. Which let’s face it, always looks so much better than our own. This allows you to truly focus on what you see before you in your own home and not compare it to someone else’s.
