Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian

Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian by Rick Riordan

The Last Olympian is the fifth and final book in Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series. It follows its title character, a demigod and child of Poseidon, growing up alongside the reader as he tries to survive deadly monsters, undead soldiers and titans from Greek mythology. This book lives up to its name as the last instalment in the series. Everything comes full circle, the relationships between characters, their arcs, everything. It's a story that will make you scream in betrayal at the author but also cheer on the characters as they make their last stand against Kronos, the series' antagonist. It's a tear-jerking story with a heartwarming ending and it will fill you with hope.

I would recommend this book to anyone who's read Riordan's previous instalments, is a fan of Greek mythology or really likes crying.
