Natasha MacAller was a professional artist, a former successful ballerina in New York’s prestigious Joffrey Ballet and Boston Ballet. From dancing she turned her passion in to her cooking career.  She is now a renowned chef, well known as 'the dancing chef ' because she brings the healing aspects of dancing into her foods and her recipes.

Spice Health Heroes features recipes from international acclaimed chefs such as  Jose Andres (Spain/USA), April Bloomfield (USA/UK), Peter Gordon (NZ/UK), Judy Joo (USA/UK/HK) and Lidia Bastianich (Italy/USA).

The book also provide mouth-watering food recipes and deserts, using spices by Natasha and other international chefs, including facts about the history of spices and information about the health benefits, how to store them, blending of the spices and a  variety of ways  to use the spices.  If you love spices and enjoy foods with a variety of  spice aromas, there is plenty of information about them and their health benefits in Spice Health Heroes.

The spices have been divided into categories; such as spices that are beneficial for the immune system and are good for body and mind - some of  these are Turmeric, Cumin, Clove, Citrus Zest and Star Anise. The book provides lively photographed images of the spices ; the reader could see the image of the spice and learn  to identify them by name.
