The Truck Cat is a beautiful book with a wholesome storyline and watercolour style illustrations. The story follows Tinka, a cat who lives in a truck with his friend Yacoub, until one day, they get separated.
Luckily for Tinka, he is picked up by a kind lady named Mari, who takes care of him. Though Tinka spends some time worrying about Yacoub, the two are eventually reunited. From then on, Tinka no longer lives only in a truck; he also spends time with Mari in her bakery, along with their new baby.
It’s a heartwarming story about the meaning of home and how home can travel with you anywhere.
