Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Stephanie Meyer's novel "Twilight" is based on an American romance story, but with a dark secret.
The main character, Isabella Swan, moves in with her father in the small town of Forks, Washington. She quickly notices the mysterious and strange Edward Cullen, whom she meets at high school. Edward's porcelain skin, beautiful eyes, and enchanting voice attract Bella to him, creating a strong yet interesting connection.
Although Bella is unaware of the supernatural abilities that both Edward and his family possess, Edward is quick to act. She is determined to uncover the secret that Edward hides from her, but as she gets closer to him, she does not realise the consequences and risks that she puts herself and the people important to her in.
When Bella discovers that Edward is a vampire, a "cold one", she is still willing to unconditionally love Edward, as she is not afraid of him. This is the start of an epic love story.
I would 100 per cent recommend this book for teenagers and adults who are interested in romance.
