The Yakuza’s Bias is the perfect manga for K-Pop fans. It is so fun to see a tough yakuza member become obsessed with a polished idol group. Despite confusing everyone around him, Ken’s new passion is intense and unwavering, just like his devotion to the Washio Clan.
Several library staff members have enjoyed this light-hearted and hilarious story, and I can see it becoming quite popular. The comedy style reminds me of Way of the House Husband and Spy x Family and the story is excellent too.
So far, there are two volumes in this series. If you loved Volume 1, make sure to come back for Volume 2. The second volume includes more information about the idol group MNW, Ken’s bias Jun, and of course plenty more cheesy gangster shenanigans!
