This book of 160 pages has caught my eyes in the health and wellbeing collection is amazing, it is a full yoga sequence of 32 poses from the wild, inspired by the animal kingdom from camels to cobras, and from lizards to lions, so many animals have loaned their characteristics and shapes as well as their name to the practice of yoga. Both adults and children will defiantly get the advantage of learning the correct yoga poses.
It is Written by Emily who is a qualified yoga instructor for over seven years. This book is featuring incredible artwork and illustration for each animal pose, and a fabulous easy to follow step-by step instructions with the joy of learning.
The format of this book is showing the correct way and practising not only physically of how to bend and move our bodies when doing yoga, also the way of how to inhale and exhale using the breathing technique, meditations and mindfulness, and trying to embrace to live by ethics and tenets outlined in this book in according to what Sharratt has explained.
There is a ‘how to use this book’ section in the book, incorporating stretching, strengthening, energizing and calming elements which makes it very easy to practice while drawing on a many different yoga styles at home solo, as well as a good guidance of how to start with breathing work exercise and gently warming up.
