There has been a minor change to the process of placing a hold on items in the Library of Things collection.
As Library of Things items are not able to be transferred to another library, you may need to change the pickup location of your hold if it does not match where the item normally belongs.
On the library catalogue or Libraries Victoria app, you will see the following error message if you attempt to place a hold on an item and set the pickup location to a library that does not have the item.
Holds on non-transitable items must have a copy at the pickup library.
If you see this error message, check which libraries hold the item you are looking for, and try placing the hold again with one of those libraries as the pickup location.
