Would you like to become more confident in the Australian outdoors? Celebrate National Science Week with a guided nature walk and information session in the peaceful gardens of Springvale Community Hub.
Led by a qualified ranger, explore our beautiful urban gardens filled with native trees, flowering plants, birds and insects. Expect accessible paved walking paths throughout and leave feeling educated and inspired.
What to expect
• Begin indoors with a short introduction for beginners about local plants, animals and insects
• Head into the gardens for a relaxing 30-minute guided walk and interactive nature discovery activities
• Take home discovery handouts in community languages
• Supportive staff to assist everyone to participate

This event is for adults. Bookings are preferred but not required.
This event takes place outdoors and will proceed unless there are extreme weather conditions. Please wear warm clothes and suitable footwear.
