Rice Clay Sculpture - Libraries After Dark

105
Two abstract forms made of rice clay.

Create rice clay, a sustainable and organic material developed by Vivian Quo as part of her ongoing material research with rice.

Made from cooked rice and embroidery floss, the hands‑on process is gently messy and meditative, resulting in a stiff, translucent material once naturally dehydrated.

Learn how to mix, mould, and dry rice clay to create usable art pieces such as small sculptures, bowls, or jewellery.

Please bring a plastic container to take your work home.

Find library items on air-dry art projects.
